When I download a mod with the NMM it sometimes suddenly hangs. For example, I downloaded Skyrim 2K about 3 times today and 2 times it stopped at 99%. I had the same problem with a few other mods. People recommend it over Nexus and I'm going with it as it has LOOT built in, and is a lot less laggy. It doesn't recognize my SKSE though. I can launch just regular Skyrim, but not SKSE from within the mod manager. It's more of a convenience thing really.
